How do we know Christ is our High Priest according to Leviticus?

Answered in 1 source

Leviticus illustrates that Christ, as our High Priest, fulfills the ceremonial laws and offers Himself as the ultimate sacrifice for sin.

Leviticus sets forth the Levitical priesthood, particularly Aaron and his sons, who serve as types representing the true High Priest, Jesus Christ. The rituals, sacrifices, and anointing described in Leviticus 8-10 point to Christ, who alone can mediate between God and man. Hebrews 7:23-28 explicates how Christ, through His once-for-all sacrifice, fulfills the role of High Priest, making atonement for His people. Unlike the Aaronic priests, who were imperfect and had to continually offer sacrifices, Christ's sacrifice was perfect and eternal. Thus, believers are assured of their acceptance before God through their union with Christ, the ultimate High Priest.
