How do we know Christ is our hope?

In the context of salvation, 1 Timothy 1:1 declares that Christ is our hope, signifying that our confidence in eternal life rests solely on Him. As articulated in Philippians 3:9, our righteousness before God cannot stem from our own efforts; it must come through faith in Christ. Furthermore, Romans 3:12 asserts there is no one who does good, hence highlighting our inability to earn salvation. It is only through an acknowledgment of our sinful condition and reliance on Christ’s atoning work that we can lay claim to this hope.
