How do we know Christ is our only defense?

Psalm 62 asserts the truth that Christ alone is our rock and defense, making Him our only secure stronghold. Verse two proclaims, 'He only is my rock and my salvation, my defense; I shall not be greatly moved.' This emphasizes that the believer's security is not found in worldly means or personal merit. Instead, it rests entirely upon Christ, who has been perfectly tried and found faithful. His character as our sure foundation assures us that, despite trials and adversities, we will not be moved from His protection and grace.
