How do we know Christ is our only hope for cleansing?

The message of the Bible is clear that our cleansing from sin can only be accomplished through Christ. In Genesis 35, God instructs Jacob to return to Bethel, the place where Jacob first encountered God. This signifies the need to look to Christ as our Savior, represented as the ladder that connects heaven and earth. Hebrews 9:22 affirms this by stating that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sins. Christ's sacrificial death satisfies God's justice, offering us true cleansing and reconciliation with the Father. Every sinner can rely on Christ, for through His blood, we are made clean.
