How do we know Christ is our salvation?

Jesus Christ embodies our salvation by being the only mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). In the context of Isaiah 22's nail in a sure place, Christ's reliability is underscored; He ensures that those who hang their faith and lives upon Him will be securely supported. The doctrine of salvation by grace through faith affirms that it is solely through Christ's finished work on the cross that we attain eternal life. Thus, the assurance of salvation rests on the nature of Christ Himself, who fulfills every promise made by God.
