Christ is our treasure when we see Him as the source of our salvation and the fulfillment of all that is valuable in life.
The sermon elaborates that Christ is depicted as the true treasure within the temple's furnishings. All the physical treasures and elements of worship are shadows of Christ, who embodies perfect salvation and endless grace. It is through a relationship with Him that believers understand the depth of their spiritual wealth. As Solomon brought items of significant worth into the temple, so too does God reveal Christ as the ultimate treasure when He opens our eyes to recognize His sovereignty and grace, as mentioned in Colossians 2:3, where all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him.
