How do we know Christ is present in our lives today?

While Christ is physically ascended into heaven, His presence is experienced by believers through the Holy Spirit. In John 14:16-17, Jesus promises that the Holy Spirit will dwell in believers and teach them all things. This is echoed in the experiences of the disciples, who, despite not seeing Him tangibly, knew Him through the illumination of the Spirit. They received understanding of the Scriptures and the reality of His presence as they carried out His commission, which assures us that Christ continues to relate to and guide His people through His Spirit.
