How do we know Christ is present in our trials?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ is present in our trials through His promises and the assurance of His abiding presence.

Jesus's promise to His disciples was that He would never leave them or forsake them, emphasizing His constant presence in times of trouble (John 10:28). When the disciples faced a storm, Jesus approached them, assuring them, 'Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid' (Matthew 14:27). This very assurance serves as a reminder to believers that even amidst the fiercest storms of life, Christ's presence brings peace and calm. His ability to still the storm and walk on water signifies His dominion over all circumstances, providing comfort and hope to His followers.
