How do we know Christ is the bread from heaven?

Answered in 1 source

Christ identifies Himself as the bread of life that gives eternal sustenance.

In Scripture, particularly in John 6:32-35, Jesus refers to Himself as the bread that came down from heaven, fulfilling the typology of the manna given to the Israelites. Manna was not only a miraculous provision for the temporal needs of the Israelites but also a foreshadowing of Christ, who provides spiritual nourishment for eternity. As Moses lifted the serpent in the wilderness, Jesus is lifted up, offering eternal life to all who believe in Him. Thus, the manna signifies Christ's ultimate satisfaction of the spiritual hunger that every human experiences.
