How do we know Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament law?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is recognized as the fulfillment of the law through His life and His own words.

In Luke 24:44, Jesus unequivocally states that the law, the prophets, and the psalms are about Him. This declaration is supported by the understanding that He perfectly fulfilled the requirements set forth in the Old Testament. The blood applied to the priest's ear, thumb, and toe symbolizes the need for listening to God's words, executing His will, and walking in accordance with Him, all of which Christ accomplished perfectly. As the scriptures reveal, belief in Him aligns with the intent of the law and brings true righteousness, unlike the failed efforts of the sacrificial system.
