How do we know Christ is the sole source of wisdom and knowledge?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible declares that all treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ (Colossians 2:3).

The affirmation from Colossians 2:3 that 'in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge' asserts that Christ is the ultimate revelation of God and the source of all understanding. This verse encourages believers to center their pursuits of wisdom and knowledge in Christ, who embodies the fullness of divine truth. The implication is that any pursuit of understanding outside the context of Christ is futile and misaligned with God’s design.

Moreover, all teachings of Scripture lead us back to Christ as the fulfillment of God’s promises and the embodiment of truth. In John 14:6, Jesus proclaims, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life.' This reinforces the conviction that apart from Him, there is no true understanding or life. Believers are thus urged to avoid any philosophy or teaching that would detract from their direct focus on Christ, laying aside human wisdom or traditions that might dilute the simplicity found in Him.
