How do we know Christ is the true altar?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the sole true altar because He fulfills the requirements of sacrifice and mediates our access to God.

The New Testament reveals that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of the Old Testament sacrificial system. All previous sacrifices pointed toward Him, emphasizing that only through Christ can we find acceptance with God. His sacrificial death has satisfied divine justice, effectively becoming the one altar of grace for all believers. As stated in Hebrews 13:10, our relationship with God is mediated through Christ, making Him the only authorized means of worship and atonement.
