How do we know Christ is the ultimate sacrifice for sin?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is known as the ultimate sacrifice because He was the perfect, sinless offering that fulfilled the requirements of the Old Testament sacrifices.

The New Testament clearly teaches that Christ is the ultimate sacrifice for sin, which is affirmed through the Old Testament sacrificial system presented in Leviticus. In Christ, we find the fulfillment of what these sacrifices symbolized. He was without blemish, sinless, and His sacrifice was made before the Lord to satisfy divine justice. Hebrews 9:26 asserts that Christ appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself, marking the end of the need for animal sacrifices. His perfect blood atones for the sins of His people, ensuring that they are fully cleansed and reconciled to God.
