How do we know Christ is the worthy Lamb?

Answered in 1 source

Jesus is declared worthy as the Lamb because He overcame sin, satisfied God's justice, and redeemed His people.

In Revelation 5, we see the profound truth that Jesus, referred to as the Lamb, is the only one worthy to open the scroll of God's decrees. He has prevailed over all obstacles, fulfilling the law and paying the debt of sin. This is affirmed by the elder who says, 'Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed.' His worthiness stems from His perfect obedience and sacrificial death, allowing Him to act as our Mediator and redeemer. Because of who He is and what He has accomplished, we can have assurance that all God's promises will come to pass.
