How do we know Christ knows us?

Answered in 1 source

Christ knows us when we are drawn by the Father and come to Him in faith.

When Christ says, 'I never knew you' (Matthew 7:23), He refers to a profound oneness rather than mere knowledge. This oneness is akin to that of a husband and wife, demonstrating intimate union. Jesus knows His sheep, as stated in John 10:14-15, and this relationship means that we also know Him. The assurance of being known by Christ comes only through the Father's drawing and our belief in Him, which leads to a life transformed by grace and a desire to fulfill His will.
