How do we know Christ's atonement guarantees our salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's atonement guarantees salvation because He took complete responsibility for His people's redemption.

Christ's fully realized role as our surety is paramount. In the Old Testament, Judah's pledge to bear the blame if he did not bring Benjamin back provides a striking illustration. Likewise, Jesus is the one who said, 'I will be surety for him.' This demonstrates that He took complete responsibility for our salvation long before we were born. The assurance of salvation is established because Christ did not just offer the possibility of redemption, but vowed, continuously, to uphold every requirement needed for us to be saved, guaranteeing our redemption through His finished work.
