How do we know Christ's invitation is for everyone?

The invitation in Isaiah 55:1 states, 'Ho, everyone that thirsteth, come ye to the waters.' This invitation is not a blanket offer to all people indiscriminately; rather, it is specifically to those who recognize their need for salvation. In John 7:37, Christ clarifies that 'if any man thirst' signifies that it is those who are aware of their spiritual condition who are invited to come and find rest in Him. Thus, the invitation is for anyone who acknowledges their spiritual thirst and need, not just a universal call to all individuals irrespective of their condition.
