How do we know Christ's offering was sufficient?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ's offering was sufficient because it fulfilled God's requirements for atonement and provided complete remission of sins.

The sufficiency of Christ's offering is evident in that it achieved what the sacrifices of the Old Testament could not: the complete removal of sin. According to Hebrews 10:4, it is not possible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins. In contrast, Christ's sacrifice was once for all, fulfilling all that was required for the redemption of God's elect. His obedience, even to death on a cross, demonstrates His perfect submission to the Father's will and the worthiness of His sacrifice. Romans 5 highlights that through Christ, many are made righteous, indicating that His offering has spiritual power to save and justify sinners before God.
