How do we know Christ's presence is with us?

Answered in 6 sources

Christ's presence is assured to His followers; He sees and knows our struggles, providing comfort during trials.

Believers can find great comfort in the truth of Christ's omnipresent nature. He is always aware of His people, even when they feel distant from Him. The Gospel accounts affirm this, showing that, much like the disciples in the storm, we often do not perceive Christ's presence, yet He is always watching over us (Mark 6:48). In moments of distress, His compassionate eye sees our toiling and afflictions. Philippians 4:4-7 encourages believers to rejoice and make their requests known to God, reassuring us that His peace will guard our hearts despite the tumultuous seas we navigate. This promise of His presence is a significant source of good cheer for Christians enduring life's challenges.
