How do we know Christ's resurrection is significant for our lives?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's resurrection assures believers of their justification and new life, affirming their position in Him.

The significance of Christ's resurrection is paramount for the believer's assurance and life. As stated in Romans 6:5, if we have been united with Him in a death like His, we shall certainly be united with Him in a resurrection like His. This union means that believers, having died with Christ, are justified and given new life—free from the bondage of sin and the law. This assures us that when Christ appears in glory, we too will be revealed as His, transformed and glorified. Thus, the resurrection not only addresses past sin but also empowers believers to live righteously as a reflection of their new identity in Christ.
