How do we know Christ's resurrection proves He is our temple?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's resurrection affirms He is the temple as He declared He would raise it in three days, exemplifying the new covenant presence of God.

Jesus stated in John 2:19, 'Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.' This declaration foreshadowed His resurrection and symbolized the new way God would dwell with His people. Unlike the physical temples made by human hands, Christ’s body is the perfect and eternal temple where God resides. After His resurrection, His disciples recognized that His words referred to His body. Thus, the resurrection validates Jesus as the true temple, ending the need for physical structures as the dwelling place of God, as also illustrated in Hebrews 9:11.
