How do we know Christ's righteousness is our integrity?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's righteousness is imputed to believers, making His integrity our own.

Believers can have confidence in their integrity by relying on the righteousness of Christ. As noted in 2 Corinthians 5:21, God made Christ to be sin for us so that we could be made the righteousness of God in Him. This imputed righteousness allows us to stand before God with assurance, trusting not in our integrity, which falters, but in Christ's perfect integrity. Therefore, when we ask God to judge us based on our integrity, we are ultimately seeking His judgment in light of Christ's righteousness that is counted as ours.
