How do we know Christ's righteousness is our only hope?

Answered in 1 source

Scripture teaches that our righteousness is only accepted through Christ, who fulfilled the law perfectly.

Our only hope of righteousness is found in Christ, who perfectly fulfilled the law on our behalf. The Bible reveals that without the righteousness of Christ, our attempts at righteousness are like filthy rags. It is through His obedience and sacrificial death that we are justified and receive the grace necessary for salvation. Therefore, trusting in anything other than Christ’s accomplishment on the cross is to leave the true gospel and seek righteousness in vain.
