How do we know Christ's righteousness is our only hope?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ's righteousness is the sole basis for our justification before God as He perfectly obeyed the law on our behalf.

Our assurance of salvation and righteousness is rooted in the work of Jesus Christ. His perfect obedience to God's law and sacrificial death serve as the sufficient payment for our sins. As Paul states, Christ is our righteousness; we stand justified before God not by our works but through faith in His completed work. This understanding affirms that true righteousness comes from outside ourselves and is attributed to us through our union with Christ.
