How do we know Christ's righteousness is the only righteousness?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's righteousness is the only true righteousness that saves because all human efforts fall short of God's law.

According to Scripture, as stated in Romans 3:10, there is none righteous, no, not one. This reinforces the belief that humanity's attempts at righteousness are inadequate. The Bible teaches that our righteousness is as filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6) and cannot stand before a holy God. The righteousness that believers possess is not their own but is granted through the grace of God in Jesus Christ. His perfect obedience and sacrificial act alone fulfill the divine law, making His righteousness the sole means of acceptance before God. Believers stand clothed in His righteousness, as illustrated in Isaiah 61:10, wherein the faithful are covered with a robe of righteousness. Therefore, it is the recognition and reliance on Christ's righteousness alone that leads to salvation.
