How do we know Christ's sacrifice is sufficient for our acceptance?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sacrifice is sufficient because God Himself accepted it, declaring that 'It is finished'.

The sufficiency of Christ's sacrifice lies in its divine acceptance by God. When Jesus declared 'It is finished' on the cross (John 19:30), He was affirming that the redemptive work necessary for the salvation of His people was fully accomplished. This acceptance by God is critical; it means that Christ has satisfied divine justice and opened the way for sinners to be reconciled with God. The Apostle Paul elaborates on this by stating that our acceptance before God comes not from our merit, but from being in Christ, who is our righteousness (Ephesians 1:6).
