How do we know Christ's sacrifice is sufficient for sins?

Answered in 3 sources

The sufficiency of Christ’s sacrifice is affirmed in its completion; He alone bears the sins of His people, who are redeemed from the curse of the law.

Christ's sacrifice is seen as fully sufficient because He bore the full weight of sin for His people. This is supported by Scripture that states, 'the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus' (Romans 6:23). Christ, in His death, satisfied God's justice, fulfilling the law’s requirements and providing redemption. The assurance of salvation comes from knowing that those who believe are clothed in His righteousness, protecting them from the divine judgment that will fall upon sin.
