How do we know Christ's sheltering role is true?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fulfills His role as a hiding place, providing effective shelter through His life, death, and intercession.

We confirm the truth of Christ as our hiding place through both Scripture and the experiences of believers. The Bible assures us that He understands our trials and has borne our sorrows. His incarnation as a man allows Him to sympathize with our weaknesses, having experienced every temptation we face yet without sin. This includes His role as our substitutionary man, meeting our storms in life with victory over them, as highlighted in the rich promises found in the New Testament, particularly in His ministry and intercession for us. Through Christ, we have direct access to refuge and strength.
