How do we know Christ's work in us is effective?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's work in us is effective because it is based on His perfect sacrifice, securing our salvation completely.

The effectiveness of Christ's work is grounded in the truth that He purged our sins by His own sacrifice. In Hebrews 1:3, it states that He purged our sins, assuring us that our redemption is complete and not merely attempted. The unchanging nature of God's promises ensures that those in Christ have been justified, and their sins are remembered no more (Romans 8:1). Furthermore, the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is evidence of His work, as He transforms us and compels us to live out our faith (Philippians 2:13). This is how we can affirm that Christ’s work is indeed effective in us.
