How do we know Christ's work is sufficient for our acceptance before God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's work is sufficient as God declared Him worthy, and He said, 'It is finished.'

The assurance of Christ’s sufficiency comes from scripture and the testimony of God’s Word. As the apostle Paul writes, God is satisfied with the atoning sacrifice of His Son, which He accepted as fulfilling the law's demands. In Romans 3, we see that by the redemption in Christ Jesus, God declared His righteousness when forgiving sins. Christ's declaration of 'It is finished' signifies the complete and perfect nature of His sacrifice, establishing that nothing else is needed for our acceptance—only faith in Him.
