How do we know Christ shall not fail?

Answered in 1 source

We know Christ shall not fail because He has guaranteed salvation for His elect, fulfilling all Scriptures regarding His redemptive work.

The assurance that Christ shall not fail is rooted in His divine nature and unchanging promises. Isaiah 42:4 proclaims, 'He shall not fail,' emphasizing that God's purposes are successfully accomplished. Throughout Scripture, God affirms that whatever He has purposed will come to pass (Isaiah 46:9-10). This includes Christ’s mission to save His people, as seen in Matthew 16, where He declares He will build His Church, and the gates of hell cannot prevail against it. Thus, every aspect of His work guarantees that He cannot fail.
