How do we know Christ understands our suffering?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fully understands our suffering as He experienced profound sorrow, tears, and rejection during His earthly ministry and on the cross.

Christ's own experiences during His life provide the believer with a deep comfort. He wept at the tomb of Lazarus, showing His identification with human grief. The preacher highlights that, akin to David's despair in Psalm 42, Christ's own tears and cries from the cross reveal His understanding of human suffering. As He bore the sins of humanity, Christ experienced the ultimate separation from God and the agony of rejection. His tears reflect His compassion and the depth of His love for His people.
