How do we know Christ will inherit God's church?

Isaiah foretells that Christ will inherit God's church by emphasizing that those who trust in the Lord will possess the land and inherit His holy mountain (Isaiah 57:13). This inheritance is not tied to a physical location but represents a spiritual kingdom, specifically the body of believers united in Christ. The foundation of this promise rests on the covenant of grace where the Father designated the Son to redeem His elect, ensuring that none of those Christ died for will be lost. Thus, Christ’s resurrection and ascension confirm His role as the head of the Church, the bride He loves and for whom He sacrificed Himself.
