How do we know Christian hope is true?

Answered in 2 sources

Christian hope is rooted in the person of Jesus Christ, who fulfills God's promises and secures our salvation.

The certainty of Christian hope is grounded in the character and promises of God. Romans 8:24 expresses that our hope is not in things that we can see, but in Christ, the source of our hope of glory. This hope is assured by two immutable truths: God's unchanging nature and His promises that cannot fail. Believers have a strong consolation, as described in Hebrews 6:18-20, because they can anchor their souls in Christ, who has gone before us into the presence of God, securing our salvation. Therefore, this hope is not a vague feeling but something sure and steadfast, anchored in Christ’s completed work.
