Genuine conversion is evidenced by a change in heart, mind, and behavior towards Christ.
Genuine conversion, as highlighted in the sermon, can be recognized through signs of a substantial change in one's life. The Gadarene man was a clear example: he was found sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind (Luke 8:35). These external and internal signs reflect the transformative power of God’s grace. A true conversion is marked by a shift from sin to righteousness—an inward change that can manifest outwardly. Believers are drawn to Christ, seeking His Word and desiring to live according to His commands. The Holy Spirit works within the hearts of the elect, leading them away from a life of rebellion towards a sincere relationship with Jesus, confirming their conversion.
