How do we know elect Christians will be saved?

Answered in 1 source

We know elect Christians will be saved because Scripture assures that all whom the Father gives to Christ will be raised up at the last day (John 6:39).

The assurance of the salvation of the elect is rooted in the doctrine of God's sovereign will as revealed in Scripture. Jesus states in John 6:39 that it is the Father's will that none of those given to Him will be lost but will be raised on the last day. This highlights the infallible nature of God's promises. The elect are those chosen by God, and their salvation is secured by Christ’s redemptive work, which cannot fail. Furthermore, the resurrection of believers affirms God's commitment to fulfilling His divine purpose, reinforcing the hope that underpins the faith of every genuine believer.
