How do we know election is true in relation to salvation?

The concept of election is integral to understanding salvation within sovereign grace theology. It reassures us that God has chosen a people for Himself, and only those whom He gives the grace to look unto Christ for salvation will believe. This is beautifully illustrated in Isaiah 45:22; when someone is given spiritual eyes to look unto Him, it signifies they are among the elect. God’s election is not a barrier but a means to salvation as it ensures that all who genuinely look to Christ will indeed be saved.
