How do we know eternal glory is greater than our suffering?

Answered in 1 source

Our faith assures us that eternal glory profoundly outweighs our temporary sufferings, as they are only for a moment.

The assurance of our faith comes from understanding that the glory awaiting us is not only promised but realized in Christ. Paul compares our transient afflictions to the eternal weight of glory that will be revealed in us, stating that they work together for our benefit as believers. This is evidenced in scripture as our trials are seen through the lens of God’s eternal plan, where the temporary nature of suffering is dwarfed by the everlasting joy and perfection we will experience in His presence. It’s crucial for believers to remind themselves that current pains are not futile but are transformed into stepping stones toward a greater understanding of Christ's glory.
