How do we know eternal life in Christ is true?

In Titus 1:2, it is stated, 'In hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began.' The reliability of God's promise is foundational to our assurance of eternal life in Christ. We can trust this truth not because of our righteousness but solely because of His grace. Romans 6:23 further emphasizes that 'the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' Our confidence rests in the finished work of Christ and His promises which are guaranteed by His character.
