How do we know eternal life is found in Christ?

Answered in 3 sources

Eternal life is assured through faith in Christ, as He explicitly states that the Scriptures testify of Him (John 5:39).

Eternal life is rooted in a relationship with Jesus Christ, who claims to be the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). The Scriptures affirm that this eternal life is not a mere promise but an active reality for those who believe in Him. John 5:39 illustrates that the Old Testament Scriptures bear witness to Christ, showing His central role in God's redemptive plan. The assurance of eternal life is also bound to understanding Christ's work on the cross, where He paid the penalty for sin, granting life to all who put their trust in Him. Thus, through Scripture, we are continually reminded of the truth that eternal life is found in Him alone.
