Faith establishes the law by believing Christ's fulfillment of the law's demands through His life and death.
The establishment of the law through faith is based on the understanding that Jesus fulfilled every requirement of the law on behalf of His people. Romans 3:21-22 points out that the righteousness of God is revealed apart from the law and is available to all who believe. By believing in Christ, we acknowledge that He is the fulfillment of the law and that our relationship with God is based on faith in Him, not on our ability to keep the law perfectly. This means that our ability to 'establish' the law comes from our faith in Christ's completed work and the transformation that occurs in the believer's life through His Spirit.
