How do we know faith in Christ is necessary for strength?

Answered in 1 source

Faith in Christ is necessary for strength because it is through this faith that we receive God's power and strength.

Ephesians 6:10 encourages believers to be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. This implies that our ability to stand firm in spiritual warfare is rooted in our faith in Christ. By putting our trust in Him, we draw from His strength and power. Furthermore, in Romans 4:20-21, Abraham exemplifies this faith by not wavering through unbelief but being fully persuaded that what God promised, He was able to perform. Thus, faith is the conduit through which God's strength flows into our lives.
