How do we know faith in Christ is the only way to righteousness?

In Romans 10:4, Paul states, 'For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth.' This indicates that the fulfillment of the law culminates in Christ, and only through Him can one attain righteousness. The apostle draws from Old Testament figures, demonstrating that even in the days of Moses, the righteousness that pleases God has always been one of faith rather than works. Galatians 3:21 further reinforces this, declaring that if a law could give life, then righteousness would indeed be by the law, but since no one can keep the law perfectly, faith in Christ becomes essential.
