How do we know faith is pleasing to God?

Faith plays a critical role in the life of a believer; it justifies the sinner and glorifies God. In the sermon, it is emphasized that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is essential for salvation and that it pleases God. Hebrews 11:6 states, 'But without faith it is impossible to please him.'
