How do we know faith is the remedy for fear?

Answered in 1 source

Faith remedies fear by trusting in God's promises and sovereignty over our circumstances.

The belief that faith serves as a remedy for fear is deeply rooted in the understanding that it directs our focus toward the sovereign power of God. When we place our trust in God, we recognize that He governs every situation we encounter, which reduces our fear of earthly troubles. As highlighted in the sermon, even though believers face difficulties, those challenges do not reflect God’s displeasure or rejection. Instead, faith assures us of His love and purpose in our lives. Therefore, true faith comforts the heart, reminding us that God has not dealt with us according to our sins but through His infinite mercy, further relieving us from the burden of fear.
