How do we know fruitful works are true?

Answered in 1 source

We know fruitful works are true because they are evidence of God's grace at work in a believer's life.

In Colossians 1:10, Paul encourages believers to bear fruit in every good work, signifying that genuine faith naturally produces good works as a result of being a new creation in Christ. This aligns with Ephesians 2:10, where we are described as God's workmanship, created for good works that God prepared beforehand. True fruitfulness is thus evidence that one is walking in faith and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
