How do we know God allows temptation?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible clearly states that God allows temptations to test our faith and reliance on Him, while ensuring they are not beyond our strength.

According to 1 Corinthians 10:13, God does not allow us to be tempted beyond what we can bear, and with each temptation, He provides a way to escape. This indicates that while temptation exists, it is part of divine providence that tests our faith and character. Furthermore, God’s promises assure us that He is faithful and will accompany us through our trials, enabling us to endure them. Recognizing that God is in control of these situations brings comfort and assurance that He uses them for our good and His glory.
