How do we know God can save us completely?

Answered in 1 source

God's ability to save is rooted in His all-sufficiency and the complete work of Christ.

Scripture assures us that God is able to save to the uttermost those who come to Him through Christ (Hebrews 7:25). Salvation is not a cooperative effort between God and man; it is solely based on God's power and grace. When individuals come to the end of their own capabilities, as Abraham did, they can trust in God's all-sufficient nature to fulfill His promise of salvation without any human assistance. This divine assurance stems from God's character, which lacks nothing necessary for salvation.
