How do we know God cannot lie?

The Bible affirms that God is incapable of deceit, supported by passages like Titus 1:2, which says, 'in hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began.' This statement underscores the idea that God's nature is intrinsically linked to truth. Unlike man, who may lie due to fear, ignorance, or a sinful nature, God, who is perfectly holy and omniscient, is never subject to such conditions. Therefore, His promises can be trusted completely, as they are grounded in His immutable character.
