How do we know God created the world?

Answered in 3 sources

We know God created the world because His creation is clearly seen and understood through observation (Romans 1:20).

God's creation is evident in the world around us, as Romans 1:20 points out that His invisible attributes, eternal power, and divine nature can be clearly perceived in what has been made. When we observe the beauty of nature, the complexity of life, and the order of the universe, it fundamentally points to an intelligent Creator. Furthermore, the assertion found in Genesis that 'In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth' makes it clear that God is the ultimate originator of all things. Denying this truth is to reject the clear evidence laid before us in creation. Thus, acknowledging God as Creator is essential for understanding the reality of our existence.
