How do we know God delivers us from troubles?

Answered in 1 source

We see God's deliverance in past experiences and trust His ongoing and future salvation.

Paul points out in 2 Corinthians 1:10 that God has delivered us from great deaths, is in the process of delivering us, and will ultimately deliver us again. This threefold assurance is grounded in what believers have already experienced – past deliverances remind us of God’s faithfulness and instill confidence for future troubles. Salvation is not just a past event; it is a continual work of God in a believer's life, affirming that He is actively involved in our deliverance, evidenced by both present struggles and historical mercy shown to His people throughout Scripture.
